A Safe & Empowering Piercing Experience for Ages 0–18

We believe body adornment should be approached with intention, safety, and respect—especially for children and teens.

Our services are tailored to meet the emotional, developmental, and physical needs of each age group, with care and communication every step of the way.

Age Groups & Services Offered

We proudly offer age-appropriate services with clear consent and comfort protocols:

  • Infants (0–11 months)
    Lobe piercings only

    • Virtual consultation required before booking to discuss timing, readiness, and healing expectations.

    • Text your name, the age of your baby to 302-932-1014

    • Please note: We currently have a “no-piercing window” for ages 1–5 years due to the unique challenges in this developmental stage.

  • Kids (8–14 years)
Lobes + basic cartilage (e.g., helix)

    • Requires in-person parent or legal guardian consent and presence.

    • We prioritize emotional readiness, calm energy, and a trauma-informed approach.

  • Teens (15–18 years)
Expanded options available (cartilage, nose, curated sets)

    • Parent/legal guardian must be present with valid ID and sign consent forms.

    • Teens should be able to understand aftercare responsibilities and healing timelines.

What’s Required

Parent or Guardian Consent & Presence:

  • A parent or legal guardian must be present in the studio for all minors under 18.

  • Valid government-issued photo ID is required from both the guardian and minor (school ID is acceptable for younger clients).

  • Legal guardianship must be verifiable by state issued document

Readiness Matters:

  • We reserve the right to decline a service if we feel a child is emotionally distressed or not ready, even with guardian approval.

  • Our goal is always to provide a safe, empowering, and pressure-free experience.

How to Prepare Your Child for Their Piercing Appointment

Creating a calm, positive experience starts before you arrive. Here’s how you can support your child in feeling safe and ready:

  • Talk About What to Expect
Use simple, honest language to explain the process:

“The piercer will clean your ear, mark the spot, and do a quick pinch to insert your jewelry. Then it’s all done!”
Avoid using scary words or saying “it won’t hurt”—it’s better to be neutral and honest.

  • Make Sure They’ve Eaten and Slept
A well-rested, well-fed body is calmer and heals better. Please have your child eat within a couple of hours before the appointment and ensure they’ve had a full night’s sleep.

  • Dress Comfortably
Choose clothing that gives easy access to the piercing site (e.g., no turtlenecks or hoodies for ear piercings).

  • Bring a Comfort Item (Optional)
Some kids love having a favorite stuffed animal, fidget toy, or small item to hold. This can ease nerves and create a sense of safety.
